A creative idea that outgrew its manual workflows
Founded in January 2025 by Shaun and Sarah, Beau Bottles adds a personal, artistic touch to champagne bottles, turning every bottle into a beautifully wrapped gift. What started as a creative idea quickly grew into a successful Shopify business with a growing volume of orders and high customer expectations.
By April, the volume of orders had outpaced their small team. Mis-picks and incorrect wraps became frequent, especially after busy weekends when they returned to hundreds of orders on Monday. Manual workflows were not only slowing them down but also creating customer service headaches.
“There was a lot of errors: mispicking or sending the wrong wraps to customers. On Mondays, we were looking at 300–400 orders and just the two of us handling it.”
